“Graduation” at Naad is a special event as our youngsters get ready to take their place in the hearing world, alongside their hearing friends. It is a day filled with pride and joy for everyone — the staff, the graduating children, the parents, family and friends of the graduating children. For parents still in the programme it is a glimpse of the road ahead and a tremendous source of inspiration.

It has been a journey that has seen the children and parents go from strength to strength, a journey filled with questions, struggles, frustrations, fighting for rights and equal opportunities; a journey of discovering hidden strengths, creativity, finding joy and acceptance and fulfillment. A journey truly understood only by those who have gone down that road before.
